Good Bye to My Old Blog, My Memories..

I started blogging many years ago. Can't really remember when is the exact date that I started.

Some of you has been following my blog since the day I started blogging and most probably you still remember what happened to my blog before. I accidentally deleted my blog. Haha.. Super careless... It happened on March of  2009, which is the same day I started this blog (alexandercts.blogspot.com) with the first post titled "OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Haha..

However, I felt relieved once I found out that I have all my posts backed up in another blog (alexandercts.multiply.com/journal). BUT.................... a few days ago............. I found out that multiply.com has been shutdown (source) on May 2013. -.-" I didn't even get to backup anything from that blog! I've lost everything in there, all the pictures, all the posts, everything... Kinda disappointed. Tried to email them but they said that "Multiply no longer provides support as their Team is not operational anymore". =/

Sad news

Sigh.. Anyway.. Feeling disappointed won't make any difference. I shall move on and make new memories. =) Joining me?

Adventurous Sunday!

Was alone at home on last Sunday. No lunch prepared. Nothing to do. So I decided to cook! Haha..

Mixed everything I've found to create something I've never tried before.

Shallots + Minced Pork + Egg + Parmesan Cheese + Long Bean + Black Pepper + Salt + Mayonnaise

Tadaa! The Outcome! Surprisingly it tastes quite nice. Haha.

Eat Eat Eat!

I'm getting fatter and fatter! Haha.

Been eating A LOT nowadays..

Monday dinner:
We ordered Friend Kuey Teow, Yong Tau Fu, Rojak, Bak Kut Teh, Asam Laksa, Chicken Rice, Satay, Claypot Loh Shu Fun, Curry Pan Mee, Fried Oyster, Popiah, and Ling Chee Kang at SS2 Food Court. And guess what? Only 5 of us. Haha.. Our stomachs almost exploded.

Tuesday dinner:

We had some awesome foods at Topshelf in Taman Tun. Just 4 of us, we ordered the following: 

Entrée 1: Foie Gras with Lentils

Entrée 2: Salad Niçoise

Entrée 3: Crispy Duck

Entrée 4: Moules Mariniere

Main 1: Coq Au Vin

Main 2: Lamb Provencal

Main 3: Beef Bourguignon

Main 4: Bouillabaisse with Spicy Rouille

Dessert 1: Apple Tarte Tatin

Dessert 2: Pavlova

The food in Topshelf is really nice. You guys should give it a try.

By the way, I was supposed to post this up last week, but was delayed due to some problem. Oh well, hope you enjoyed licking your screen. Lol..

Trust me, I'm an Engineer.

Here's a little update about what I've been doing all this while..

I'm a Junior Resident Engineer in one of the developer company! =)
Basically... I'm the client's representative in the construction site and currently involved in 4 ongoing projects. We have bungalow lots, semi-ds, super-links, and cluster house. Soon there will be condos and club house..

And here's how I look like in the site. Haha. All covered up. (Sometimes with a pair of sunglasses too.)

If you're around Puchong at around 12 noon, let me know, we can go for lunch! Hehe.

Oh, and these are the little puppies born in my site. Cute eh?

One more interesting thing, a little wild bird flew to us. We fed the bird with insects we found on the ground and some water from our bottle. Haha.

I've taken quite a lot of pictures in the site. Too many to be shared here. Haha.. Oh well, that's all for now. Byeee!

My centipede

I caught a centipede last year in my house and I decided to rear it, since I like weird stuffs. Haha.

And it is a female. How do I know? Well, a few months back (few weeks after I caught it), I thought it was dead because it never came out from the soil for weeks and the foods I gave were not eaten. So I decided to dig the soil and see what was happening inside. Half way digging, I saw some tiny white centipedes crawled out from the soil and I quickly stopped digging to avoid hurting anyone of them. Then I started googling about this unusual event and found out that the mother centipede tends to wrap around the eggs for weeks until they are hatched. So this is how I know that it is a female centipede.

Wondering how it can get pregnant and laid so many eggs even though it was in the container all alone for so many weeks? Erm, I'm not sure about this. Maybe "something" happened before I caught it? Haha. Anyway, there were more than 10 babies but I guess all off them were dead by now because I didn't feed them for about 3 weeks. Haha. Fortunately, the mother is still alive.

Mealworms for my centipede!

Just bought some mealworms for my centipede to eat.

Crawling here and there, without knowing there's a predator hiding in the soil.

They're kinda cute actually. lol.. Anyway, all these mealworms will grow into a beetles one day.
